We at Photo Road Trips understand the importance of quality outdoor gear. Nothing ruins a good day of shooting like cold toes or wet clothes. I have spent a great deal of time in the outdoors both as a hiker and an outdoor photographer, and hope that I can contribute some helpful things to this forum. Glenn is also the consumate outdoorsman and has a great deal to say about a wide variety of products as well (he's a little longer in the tooth, you see).

We will try to continue to add gear reviews as possible, both from our trips through our weblogs and on our return here in the outdoor gear section. We welcome contributions from readers as well. If your opinion differs from the one you see here, feel free to write us and give us your experience. Soon we hope to allow visitors to post their own reviews, though that is some time away.
