Photographers have differing needs. We understand that here at Photo Road Trips, but feel we can offer insight into the various gear that we own and use regularly. Whatever camera setup you design should be tailored to your method of photography: you shouldn't need that 50mm f/1.4 for landscape photos, even if it is an amazingly sharp lens. With that being said, it must also be understood that our experience with this equipment is within our particular realm of photography, so our comments may not be pertinent to the studio photographer.
We also welcome the opinions of you who read our pages. The same lens often differs from batch to batch, and different experiences can paint a more complete picture of particular equipment. One thing to be noted is that we both use Canon systems and know comparatively little about Nikon or Sony systems, which is all the more reason for you readers to contribute to this section.
